This preview lets you compare the outcome before authorizing the transaction. ## Difference between rate and fee The **exchange rate** shows how much one currency or asset is worth against another. For example, it shows how many pesos you receive per dollar, or how much balance you get when converting to USDT. The **fee** is the charge associated with the service. It can vary depending on the product, the amount, the currency, the country, the network, and the payment method. When a route involves banks, blockchain networks, or other providers, third-party charges may also apply. ## What does the quote show? The confirmation screen displays the information available for that transaction: - source currency and amount; - destination currency and estimated amount; - rate applied during the quote window; - fee disclosed by EFY; - estimated total the recipient will receive. Rates can change due to market movements or because the quote has expired. If the value updates before you confirm, review the result again. For international transfers, the final total may also be affected by intermediary banks or external providers, when applicable. ## A simple example Suppose you want to convert a local currency balance into dollars. EFY calculates the quote using the available route and shows the fee separately. You can review the estimated total in dollars and decide whether to confirm or cancel; the transaction isn’t executed until you authorize it. The values shown in screenshots or examples on the site are illustrative. The valid quote is the one you see on the platform at the time of the transaction. ## How to review a transaction 1. Select the source and destination currency. 2. Enter the amount you want to convert or send. 3. Review the rate, the fee, and the estimated total. 4. Verify the recipient’s details and the route. 5. Confirm only if all the information is correct.
