# How to send a cross-border payment

Send money to local accounts in the markets where we operate, usually within 1 to 2 hours.

Sending an international payment with efy is straightforward and traceable. Every step shows the rate and the fee, with no surprises.

1. 1 Choose the destination Select the destination country and currency. You'll see the rate and fee before continuing.

2. 2 Add the beneficiary Enter the destination account details or choose a saved beneficiary.

3. 3 Confirm the total Review the amount to send, the fee, and the total to be received. Confirm to release the payment.

4. 4 Track the transaction See the status in real time. Most transfers arrive within 1 to 2 hours.
